Ohyoon Kwon has long been a familiar face at Jasmijn en Ik—first as a guest, and now as a collaborator.
Together with Mowie & Hana, the sister and owner of Jasmijn en Ik, we have crafted an unforgettable Korean five-course menu that captures the essence of winter through two soul-stirring ingredients: Kimchi and Kaki (Persimmon). Both ingredients represent the "art of waiting"—the patience required to transform simple produce into deep, complex flavors.
Kimchi: Beyond the familiar, you will experience kimchi dried, fried, baked, sautéed and more. We are especially proud to feature five-month-old kimchi, ripened in traditional buried pot for a smooth maturity.
Kaki: As the quintessential winter fruit of Korea, the Kaki symbolizes the passage of time. Throughout the menu, you will discover how this humble fruit transforms when preserved, shining in unexpected ways from start to finish.
