Celebrating the season’s abundance together at Garden Slotlaan.

As we close out our very first growing season, we’re looking back on an amazing journey filled with blooming flowerbeds, lush Korean vegetables, and enigmatic fields of flax.

Join our special harvest evening to celebrate the gifts of the earth and the community that made it all possible. Gather with us for a cozy, potluck-style get-together to exchange produce, share handmade crafts, taste autumn treats, and celebrate the season’s abundance together.

Free to join, registration is mandatory. See the details below on what to expect!

What We Will Share

  • 🥣 Warm Autumn Korean Pumpkin Soup

We’ll be simmering a big pot of comforting, velvety pumpkin soup made fresh from garden pumpkins to keep hands and hearts warm as dusk settles in.

  • 🌾 Live Flax Fiber Demonstration

Discover the age-old craft of linen making. See firsthand how dried flax stems are broken, scutched, and combed into silky, strong textile fibers.

  • 🧺 The Community Sharing Table

Bring a little, taste a lot! A welcoming communal table to set down your autumn bakes, garden surpluses, and handmade treasures to share openly with neighbors.

  • 💡 The Garden Idea Board

Autumn is also food for thought. Leave your experiences, ideas, and contacts on our community board to help shape next season together.

What You Can Bring & Share

This evening is built purely on the spirit of generosity, gifting, and community exchange. Everything brought is shared freely—either to be tasted together on the spot or gifted to take home:

  • Potluck Bites & Homemade Treats: Freshly baked cakes, savory finger foods, seasonal snacks, or homemade drinks to place on the communal sharing table.

  • Garden Harvests & Seeds: Surplus apples, pears, autumn vegetables, herbal cuttings, or saved seeds to swap or give away to fellow gardeners.

  • Handmade Crafts & Botanical Gifts: Small handmade creations, dried herbs, flower bundles, or garden-inspired crafts to gift.

  • Your Own Favorite Drinks: Please bring along your own beverage for personal sipping throughout the evening

A gentle note on sharing:

All produce, homemade bakes, and crafts are brought as free gifts—either to be eaten together on-site or given away. While we all love a cozy rommelmarkt, tonight is not a market for selling; it is simply about celebrating and sharing our collective abundance.
